Who we are
Postline is run by Traction Labs, Kathmandu, Nepal. Traction Labs is responsible for the data described here. Questions about your privacy go to privacy@postline.tech.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and profile picture, used to sign you in and show you to your team.
- Connected accounts: when you connect YouTube, Facebook or Instagram, we store the access keys those platforms give us, plus the account's name, ID and follower count.
- Your videos: the files, titles, captions and tags you upload, and the posting schedule you set.
- Results: links, views, likes and comment counts of videos Postline posted for you.
- Problem reports: when you use "Report a problem", the message, any screenshots you attach, the page you were on and your browser type.
How we use it
Only to run the service you asked for: publish your videos to your accounts at the times you chose, check that your connections still work, show you statistics, and answer your problem reports. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the platforms you post to and the providers listed below.
Google user data
When you connect YouTube, Postline asks Google for permission to upload videos to your channel and to read your channel's basic details and video statistics. We use this access only to upload the videos you queued and to show you their views. Postline's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. No Google user data is used to train AI models or shared with third parties.
Facebook and Instagram data
When you connect with Facebook, Postline receives access to the Pages and Instagram business accounts you select, so it can publish your videos there and read their follower and view counts. Nothing is posted that you did not upload.
How we keep it safe
Platform access keys are encrypted before they are stored and are never shown in the dashboard. Video files are deleted from storage once they have been posted everywhere. Data is stored with our providers: Convex (database), Backblaze or your own storage bucket (video files), Clerk (sign-in), Vercel (website), Resend (sending problem reports by email) and Dodo Payments (payments). When you buy a plan, Dodo Payments collects your payment details and billing address as the merchant of record; Postline never sees or stores your card number.
Cookies
We only use the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings - see the Cookie policy.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your workspace exists. Disconnecting an account deletes its stored keys immediately. You can also revoke access yourself in your Google account or Facebook business integrations. To delete everything, see Delete your data.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@postline.tech from the address you sign in with and we'll answer within 30 days.
