TikTok
About 1 minute
Sign in with TikTok once per channel. Each video then goes to that TikTok account at the channel's posting times - either as a draft in the TikTok app's inbox, or straight to the profile.
Connect the account
- 1
Open the channel, go to the Status tab and click Connect TikTok on the TikTok card.
- 2
Sign in with the TikTok account the videos should go to, and click Authorize. Keep every permission ticked - Postline needs all three to post.
- 3
You land back on the channel and the TikTok card says Working.
Pick where videos go
The TikTok card has a **Videos go to** choice:
- 1
TikTok inbox (you tap Post): each video arrives as a draft in the TikTok app (notifications → inbox). Open it, add the caption and tap Post.
TikTok doesn't let apps write the caption for inbox drafts - the caption from Postline isn't carried over.
- 2
Straight to the profile: Postline posts the video with its caption at the slot time, nothing to tap.
Until TikTok finishes reviewing the Postline app, these posts are private (only you see them). Use the inbox until then.
If something goes wrong
- “TikTok didn't grant …” after signing in
- A permission was unticked on TikTok's screen. Click Connect TikTok again and leave everything ticked.
- The video posted but nobody else can see it
- That's “Straight to the profile” while the Postline app is still in TikTok's review - TikTok keeps those private. Switch to TikTok inbox for now.
- “TikTok login expired - sign in again”
- Click Sign in again on the TikTok card. Videos that failed because of it in the last day are sent again automatically.
- Remove Postline's access
- Disconnect on the Status tab, then in the TikTok app: Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions → Postline → Remove access.
